CBAMBOO helps EU importers manage their obligations under the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM). The platform gives procurement teams full visibility on CBAM tax exposure from the moment a purchase order is raised.

## What is CBAM?

The Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism is an EU regulation that requires importers of certain goods (steel, aluminium, cement, fertilisers, electricity, and hydrogen) to purchase CBAM certificates reflecting the carbon price of their imports. It entered its definitive phase on 1 January 2026.
